Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform to support Health Care Professionals, Start-up specialists and Field Service Engineers across EMEA. This is a full-time role requiring a medical or technical background and multilingual capabilities.

You will provide expert remote support, drive escalations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, with remote and occasional onsite duties across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills and experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues; initiate field service as needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite availability (domestic and international).
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; On-call 7AM-7PM (rotating).
