Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals and field staff, and coordinate remote and onsite activities.

The role requires 4+ years in a technical engineering field, fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and strong problem-solving skills. Domestic and international travel may be required, with a fixed CET schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSc/MSc in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to stakeholders.
• Drive escalation and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and document work promptly.
• Occasional onsite support/domestic and international travel.
• Work 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotating.
