Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across Europe. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startup specialists and field service engineers, leveraging your medical device background and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience analyzing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support.
• Collaborate with other remote service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support/training domestically and internationally.
• Regular working hours 8:00 - 16:30 CET. On-call availability 7AM-7PM (rotating).
