Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 platform across EMEA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering (or medical degree with technical skills).
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience with analyzing technical issues and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to troubleshoot service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
• Occasional on-site support/training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM with rotation.
