Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform to support HCPs, SUS and FSEs across EMEA. You will troubleshoot complex issues, drive escalation, and collaborate with a global service team while ensuring accurate documentation and process improvements.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background with robotics experience, fluent Portuguese/English/Italian, and willingness to travel for on-site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues including field service as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation entries and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Occasional onsite support training domestically and internationally; standard hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00.
