Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo and DS1 across EMEA. You will explain complex issues to HCPs, SUS and FSEs, and coordinate remote and on-site activities as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, 4+ years of robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; organized and multi-task capable.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and remote support.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCPs, SUS and FSEs.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Own documentation and continuous improvement projects; ensure timely entries.
• Primarily remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotation.
