Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will support the Hugo robotic system and DS1, explain complex tech issues to HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, and collaborate across teams while maintaining documentation accuracy.

The role demands a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, 4+ years of experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. Travel for onsite training may be required within Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with required experience or advanced degree with minimum years.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environments.
• Highly organized with ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7:00-19:00; rotation among colleagues.
