Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across EMEA. You will provide expert remote service, triage issues, and coordinate with Field Service Engineers, HCPs, and SUS teams in a cross-border environment.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 4+ years in robotics or related field.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and lead improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support; occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
