Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time Remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists and field service engineers, acting as a technical liaison.

The role involves remote support with occasional on-site visits, 8:00–16:30 CET hours, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with robotics experience or related field.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Occasional on-site support and training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET with on-call rotation.
