Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will work with healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, translating complex technical issues into actionable solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork, with regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET and on-call rotations; possible occasional on-site work domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or medical degree with tech skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Lead escalation to resolve issues and arrange required field service support.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
• On-call availability; regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET.
