Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, supporting Hugo and DS1 in a high-stakes operating room environment.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering degree, 4+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. It includes a hybrid travel pattern with international onsite support opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1.
• Escalate issues and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Occasional on-site support domestically and internationally.
• Work remotely with standard hours 8:00–16:30 CET and on-call 7:00–19:00.
