Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 AI platform for healthcare professionals across Europe. The role focuses on remote assistance with some on-site training availability, supporting an operating room environment.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with robotics experience, speaks Portuguese, English, and Italian, and excels at issue analysis and software troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical focus.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robot system and DS1 to HCP/SUS/FSE.
• Drive escalation processes; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other tech service specialists to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment; own continuous improvement projects.
