Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) system and the DS1 analytics platform. You will support Health Care Professionals, Start-up-specialists, and Field Service Engineers across Europe, with remote and occasional on-site duties.

Requirements include a degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering (or medical degree with tech skills), fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and robotics experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with required experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.
• Highly organized, can multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support/training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; On-call 7AM-7PM with rotating colleagues.
