Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo and DS1 in EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS and field engineers from multiple countries, maintaining documentation and driving continuous improvements.

The role is full-time and remote, with possible onsite work across Europe. Requires engineering degree with robotics experience and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; software troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure proper documentation.
• Mostly remote with some onsite training; travel domestically and internationally.
• Maintain working hours 08:00–16:30 CET; on-call 07:00–19:00 with rotation.
