Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will explain complex Hugo DS1 issues to HCPs, SUS and FSEs, coordinating remote support and occasional onsite training across international sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasking and able to prioritize.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
