Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 analytics platform. The role requires strong technical aptitude, international collaboration, and excellent communication with healthcare professionals and field engineers.

The position offers remote work across EMEA with occasional domestic and international travel and a competitive incentive plan.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years; medical degree with tech skills also acceptable.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvement projects.
Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotating.
