Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs as a medical-technical expert.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, strong communication, and operating room experience, with remote work across multiple European sites and occasional domestic/international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and process analysis for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation processes and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other CS specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and related documentation.
• Occasional onsite support/training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; 7:00–19:00 on-call rotation.
