Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role emphasizes clear communication with healthcare professionals and field engineers, with a mix of remote and occasional international on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvements.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training (domestic and international).
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotates among colleagues.
