Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time, customer-focused remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo system and DS1 across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will communicate complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startups, and field service engineers, with responsibilities spanning remote troubleshooting and on-site visits as needed.

Qualifications

Engineering degree with relevant experience in medical technology or robotics.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environments.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Lead escalation processes and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other service specialists to troubleshoot complex issues.
Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
Ensure timely completion of system entries and documentation.
Occasional on-site support/training domestically and internationally.
