Job summary
Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics across Europe. You will support Hugo robotic systems and DS1 analytics, explaining complex issues to HCPs and engineers.
Ideal candidates hold a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering degree with 4+ years in robotics, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. Remote work with some international travel is involved.
Qualifications
- Requires engineering degree with relevant experience or advanced degree with minimal experience.
- Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
- Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with software troubleshooting and technical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to diverse stakeholders.
- Drive escalation and coordinate field service when needed.
- Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot complex service requests.
- Own continuous improvement projects and ensure proper documentation.
- Remote support with occasional domestic and international onsite training.
- Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET, on-call 7:00–19:00 rotations.
