GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Europe to oversee offshore wind assets, monitor performance, and drive reliable operations across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose issues, perform remote diagnostics, and guide field personnel while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• The candidate has hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with occasional on-call during weekends and holidays.
