Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center to safeguard offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will guide operations across commissioning and service, ensuring turbines perform reliably while driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with site teams, engineers and support teams, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and lead remote diagnostics. Fluent English and EU relocation readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Able to read electrical schematics and use them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
