Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center focused on wind energy, based in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, coordinating commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and field support.

You will analyze performance data, work with site teams and engineering experts, and push process improvements while maintaining clear, structured communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor offshore wind operation performance and alarms.
• Lead diagnostics and remote troubleshooting from ROC.
• Assist field teams with issue resolution to restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Drive process improvements and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance focus.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
