Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind) to support offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze alarms, and drive remote diagnostics across commissioning and service phases.

Collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to resolve issues, improve operations, and ensure safe, reliable power delivery. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility required; travel up to 20% and occasional on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine operation or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required with safety compliance.
• Participate in rotating weekday shift and on-call weekends/holidays.
