Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and coordinate remote diagnostics to keep turbines operating reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams, engineers, and support staff, driving data-driven improvements, troubleshooting, and safe, compliant operations across commissioning and service phases. Fluency in English and EU relocation eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call during weekends and holidays.
