Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a ROC Technical Lead for remote operations of offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose faults, and guide commissioning and service activities to ensure reliability across the asset lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyse operational data for trends, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm, structured under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/public holidays.
