GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Wind Energy. You will supervise safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote center, supporting commissioning and service across lifecycle.

You collaborate with site teams and engineers to diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues, optimize performance, and report findings. Travel up to 20% and occasional on-call weekends are expected; fluent English required and EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
