Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers while supporting remote and occasional on-site activities.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Medical degree with technical skills is acceptable with relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities with ownership of continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7AM–7PM with rotation.
