Job summary

Medtronic seeks a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across Europe. You will assist Health Care Professionals, Start-up specialists and Field Service Engineers, providing expert remote guidance and troubleshooting.

The role requires 4+ years in engineering or a medical degree with technical skills, plus fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering with 4+ years relevant experience, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience in robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite domestically and internationally.
• On-call availability 7AM-7PM with a rotating schedule.
