Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform. You will provide expert remote support, coordinate escalations, and collaborate with field service engineers across Europe, domestically and internationally.

The role requires engineering degree, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. It offers a remote role with regular hours and an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years)
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience also acceptable
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2)
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment
• Strong organization, multitasking and prioritization abilities
• Experience in analyzing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement
• Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP/SUS/FSE
• Drive escalation process and coordinate field service when needed
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists on complex service requests
• Perform technical activities requiring significant judgment and own improvement projects
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotating among colleagues
