Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. The role focuses on delivering remote technical assistance to healthcare professionals, startup specialists, and field service engineers, with occasional onsite support across countries.

The ideal candidate has an engineering background with robotics experience, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
