Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across the EMEA region. The role demands strong technical and communication skills to guide healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers through complex issues.

You will work on remote support with some on-site activities, applying rigorous problem-solving and documentation practices while following CET hours and rotation-based on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate necessary field service.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are promptly completed.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotating among colleagues.
