Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across the EMEA region. You will communicate complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field engineers, delivering remote service and occasional on-site training.

The role requires strong engineering/medical background, fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 to healthcare professionals, SUS and FSEs.
• Escalate issues and initiate required field service support as needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training and domestic/international travel.
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 with rotating shifts.
