Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics across Europe. You will support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform remotely, communicating complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startups, and engineers.

The role requires a biomedical/engineering background, fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian, and experience in operating rooms. Hybrid travel may be involved, with a focus on remote problem solving and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo RAS and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation process and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judged decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training/domestic and international.
• On-call rotation with colleagues; regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET.
