Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. You will deliver expert remote guidance to Health Care Professionals, SUS and FSE, explaining complex issues and coordinating service actions.

The ideal candidate has an engineering background, strong analytical skills, and experience in an operating room.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
