Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 platform. The role involves explaining complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSE, with engagement across Europe and beyond.

The candidate will support operations in an operating room environment, collaborating with regional service teams and driving continuous improvement in technical service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with relevant experience or advanced degree with experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Robotic Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service support.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training (domestically and international).
• On-call availability 7AM-7PM, with rotations among colleagues.
