Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics in Europe. You will support the Hugo robotic system and DS1, explaining complex technical issues to HCP, SUS, and FSE, and collaborate with a global team to resolve service requests.

The role requires a degree in engineering or medicine with tech skills, fluency in PT/EN/IT, and experience in robotics or motion control. Occasional onsite travel across Europe and domestic locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with experience; or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Maintain regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET with on-call 7AM-7PM, rotating among colleagues.
