Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. The role focuses on providing expert remote support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform, communicating complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs.

The position requires strong multi‑tasking, and flexibility for international travel and on‑call hours. The successful candidate will have a relevant engineering or medical degree, extensive robotics

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
Cover remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
