Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across the EMEA region. You will communicate with healthcare professionals, SUS and FSE, providing expert remote support and occasional onsite training.

The role requires engineering degrees, fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and experience with robotics in capital equipment. The salary ranges vary by country, and final pay is determined by experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and have ownership of continuous improvement projects.
Responsible to ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support / training availability domestically and internationally.
Regular working hours from 8:00 - 16:30 CET. On-call availability between 7AM-7PM (availability rotates between colleagues).
