Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 software across EMEA. The role requires a technical engineering background with 4+ years of robotics or motion control experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

The position includes remote work with occasional on-site support in Europe and the US, aligning with the 8:00-16:30 CET schedule and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and documentation skills.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
Drive escalation and arrange field service support when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex issues.
Own continuous improvement projects and maintain documentation.
Occasional on-site support domestically and internationally; flexible hours.
