Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics to support the Surgery portfolio across EMEA. The role requires strong technical communication skills to explain complex issues to HCPs, SUS, and FSEs in a fully remote capacity.

You will work 8:00-16:30 CET with on-call coverage 7:00-19:00, and travel domestically and internationally for occasional on-site training. A biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with minimum relevant experience in biomedical/electrical/mechanical areas.
• Fluency in English, Portuguese and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Escalate and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation completeness and participate in continuous improvements.
• Occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
