Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across EMEA. The role emphasizes remote technical support, clear communication with health care professionals, SUS and FSE, and collaboration with a global service network.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, drive escalation when needed, maintain documentation, and occasionally provide onsite training domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure thorough documentation.
