Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) system and the DS1 AI-powered platform across EMEA. Strong communication skills and robotics experience are required.

The role includes remote troubleshooting, coordination with HCP/SUS/FSE, and occasional onsite support, with on-call duties and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS, and FSE; act as technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate required field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with judgment and ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite support/training (domestically and international).
• Adhere to regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotating.
