Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform. The role focuses on delivering remote technical support to healthcare professionals, startup specialists, and field service engineers across EMEA.

The ideal candidate has a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, 4+ years of robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. Occasional onsite training and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with minimum 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate field service as needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with judgment; own continuous improvement projects.
