Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Surgical Robotics portfolio in the EMEA region. The role involves supporting the Hugo robotic-assisted system and DS1 analytics platform, communicating complex technical issues clearly to HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, and driving issue escalation when needed.

The position combines medical technology expertise with strong problem solving, in a global team, with on-call and potential domestic/international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience with analyzing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 to healthcare professionals and field engineers.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with significant judgement and ownership of improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
