Job summary

Medtronic seeks a remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across Europe. You will interpret complex technical issues for HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, providing guidance and troubleshooting from a remote setting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. You will coordinate with global teams, document actions, and participate in continuous improvement while occasionally

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training (domestic and international).
• Regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM, rotation among colleagues.
