Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a fulltime remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform for Health Care Professionals, SUS and FSEs in the EMEA region.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to explain complex technical issues in multiple languages. Occasional domestic and international on-site training may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with 4+ years experience, or medical degree with tech skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1.
• Lead escalation and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Own continuous improvement projects and documentation accuracy.
• Occasional on-site training and domestic/international support.
