Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery and DS1 AI-powered platform. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, leveraging robotics and software troubleshooting in a global operating environment.

The role requires a biomedical/engineering background, multi-language fluency (PT/EN/IT), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized, flexible, able to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service support when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities with judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotation.
