Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 platform. The role requires strong technical problem-solving, the ability to explain complex issues to healthcare professionals, and experience in operating room environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Robotic Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
