Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 AI-powered analytics. You will support healthcare professionals, start-up specialists and field service engineers across EMEA, combining technical expertise with strong communication in multiple languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasking and able to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 with rotations.
